Baggage Transport Restrictions

Passengers shall not place the following items in their baggage or carry them into the aircraft cabin. Otherwise, Juneyao Airlines reserves the right to refuse carriage:

Dangerous Goods (including but not limited to)

(1) Explosives;

(2) Gases, including flammable gases, non-flammable non-toxic gases, and toxic gases;

(3) Flammable liquids;

(4) Flammable solids, substances liable to spontaneous combustion, and substances that emit flammable gases upon contact with water;

(5) Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides;

(6) Toxic substances and infectious substances;

(7) Radioactive substances;

(8) Corrosive substances;

(9) Magnetic substances;

(10) Substances with anesthetic, offensive or similar properties;

(11) Items likely to soil the aircraft;

(12) Lithium batteries with lithium content > 2 g or lithium-ion batteries with rated energy > 160 Wh;

(13) Other dangerous items prohibited by Juneyao Airlines regulations.

Firearms

Including all types of imitation toy guns, gun-shaped lighters and other offensive weapons, excluding sports equipment.

Except for approved service dogs.

Other prohibited items stipulated by the state

Checked baggage must be well-packed, securely locked and tightly bound to withstand reasonable pressure and enable safe loading, unloading and transportation under normal operating conditions. Juneyao Airlines may refuse to accept baggage with inadequate packaging. Packages bearing dangerous goods markings or labels shall generally not be used as outer packaging for baggage. If used, all such markings or labels must be removed or covered.

The following items may not be carried as or packed in checked baggage:

(1) Important documents and materials;

(2) Negotiable securities including but not limited to currency and drafts;

(3) Jewelry, precious metals (gold, silver, etc.) and items thereof;

(4) Antiques and artworks;

(5) Fragile, easily damaged and perishable items;

(6) Valuables including samples;

(7) Travel documents;

(8) Other items requiring special care. Subject to Juneyao Airlines’ baggage weight and size limitations, the above items may be carried into the cabin as unchecked baggage and kept in the passenger’s custody.

Juneyao Airlines imposes strict quantity limits and packaging requirements for the carriage of the following items. Such items will only be accepted for carriage if they meet Juneyao Airlines’ conditions of carriage and prior approval has been obtained.

1. Precision Instruments, Electrical Appliances, and Similar Items

Precision instruments, electrical appliances and similar items shall be transported as cargo. If transported as checked baggage, they must be properly packed. The weight of such items shall not count toward the free baggage allowance, and excess baggage fees shall apply.

2. Sports Equipment

Sports equipment includes firearms and ammunition for sports use. Such items may only be transported as checked baggage with a valid firearms transport permit or an approval certificate issued by the national sports authority. Firearms must be unloaded, with safety engaged, and properly packed.

3. Service Dogs

Service dogs are specially trained dogs that assist persons with disabilities in daily life and work, including assistance dogs, guide dogs, and hearing dogs.

5. Folding or Electric Wheelchairs for Passenger Use During Travel

6. Sharp and Blunt Objects Other Than Regulated Knives

Items such as kitchen knives, fruit knives, table knives, craft knives, surgical knives, scissors, sickles, stage swords and spears, antique or souvenir knives and swords, as well as steel files, axes, blunt instruments, hammers, etc., are not permitted in the cabin and must be transported as checked baggage.

7. Dry Ice, Liquids (Including Alcoholic Beverages), Smoking Utensils, Medicines, Cosmetics, etc. for Travel Use.

The volume of liquid items must comply with the restrictions of government authorities, Juneyao Airlines, relevant carriers and airports. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited as carry-on items and must be transported as checked baggage.

8. Lithium Batteries

Lithium batteries with a rated energy exceeding 100 Wh but not exceeding 160 Wh.

9. Small Cylinders of Gaseous Oxygen or Air, etc.

Small gaseous oxygen or air cylinders for medical use; small carbon dioxide cylinders worn by passengers for mechanical limb operation; hydrocarbon-containing catalytic hair curlers limited to one per passenger.

10. Large Musical Instruments and Other Special Items

Large musical instruments and other items unsuitable for cabin carriage and exceeding the weight and size limits for carry-on baggage may be brought into the cabin with a paid seat. Passengers shall take full responsibility for safekeeping.

11. Liquids, Gels and Aerosols in Carry-On Baggage

Liquids, gels and aerosols in carry-on baggage must be contained in individual containers of no more than 100 ml each, with a total combined volume not exceeding 1 L.

12. Live Organs and Blood Products

Live organs and blood products must be properly stowed by the passenger under the seat and kept in their custody. If exceeding weight or size limits for carry-on baggage, they may be brought into the cabin with a paid seat. Passengers shall take full responsibility for safekeeping.
