Dateļ¼2024-11-21
(Revised on September 2024)
To improve the rationality of Juneyao Airlines' voluntary ticket change and refund of international tickets, the following provisions are made for the voluntary ticket change and refund of Juneyao Airlines' international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan region line (the existing refund rules will be maintained for line not involved).
- Applicable line: Juneyao Airlines IATA TC3 international and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan region line (excluding Australia and extended lines).
- Applicable period:
Ticket sales date: from September 23, 2024;
Travel departure date: 27 October 2024 (date of the first leg of travel);
- Voluntary change of international ticket
- Voluntary changes of international tickets include changes in flight date, flight number, cabin class (including class and sub-cabin), etc. However, it is not allowed to change the line (except for special products) and carrier.
- Juneyao Airlines recommends using the GDS automatic change command to change the international ticket. In case the international ticket is not supported by systems, the following rules will be followed.
- Voluntary change rules for international ticket
- If it was not used during the flight segment, take the change date as the sale date to recalculate the freight rate and taxes for the new trip.
- Part used: Use the sale date of the old ticket to recalculate the freight rate and taxes of the new trip.
- If the new ticket price is higher than the original ticket price, the difference between the ticket price and the change fee shall be charged at the same time. When the new ticket price is lower than the original, the difference is non-refundable, and a change fee will be charged. Recalculate YQ/YR; there will be no refund if there is more and supplement if there is less.
- Change fee calculation: When the original ticket has multiple price calculation groups in a pricing unit, a change fee is charged for the higher value of the changed leg (in the unit of price calculation group).
- There is no change fee for infants who do not occupy a seat; children's change fees are charged at the same rate as adults.
- A change fee will be charged for each change operation.
- Voluntary refund of international ticket
- Voluntary refunds of international tickets must be made for the leg on the ticket at one time, and may not be made for the refund in batches.
- Juneyao Airlines recommends using the GDS automatic refund command to refund international tickets. In case the systems do not support international tickets, the following rules will be followed.
- Under the conditions of a voluntary refund, the amount to be refunded consists of two parts. One part is the refundable fares and YQ/YR, and the other is the refundable government tax collected. These two parts are calculated separately at the time of refund.
- Refundable fares and YQ/YR = Fares paid and YQ/YR - Fares recalculated using leg and YQ/YR - Fares for non-refundable leg and YQ/YR - Refund fees
- Refundable government taxes = Government taxes for unused leg (except taxes that are not refundable according to government regulations)
- Part used: When part of the ticket has been used, take the original ticket issue date as the sale date to re-calculate.The fare of the used leg and the new fare of the used leg must be equal to or higher than the original fare. If there is no single freight rate for the used leg, the higher single freight rate will be used. The fare, YQ/YR, and government taxes collected for the used part of the ticket shall be subject to the final calculation result of Juneyao Airlines.
- No refund fee for infants who do not occupy a seat; Children's refund fee is charged at the same rate as adults.
- If the ADDON freight rate only uses the add-on segment, the published freight rate of the add-on segment will be deducted according to the service level (deducted according to the J and Y cabin prices).
- Refund fee calculation: When the original ticket has multiple price calculation groups in a pricing unit, a refund fee is charged for the higher value of the refunded leg (in the unit of the price calculation group).
- When the total of the refundable fare and the YQ/YR calculation is zero or negative, refund the government taxes on the unused leg (except for the tax, which is not allowed to be refunded according to government regulations).
- The YQ/YR refund rules are the same as the ticket refund rules; that is, the ticket price is refundable, the unused YQ/YR is refundable, the fare is non-refundable, and the unused YQ/YR is non-refundable.
- The change fee charged is non-refundable for tickets that were voluntarily changed before the refund application was submitted.
